Aluminium Ball Head Classic 36

To ensure stable support for your camera, a tripod head is just as important as the tripod. It not only supports the camera but is also intended to put it quickly and easily into the desired position. The most important criteria for a tripod head are its stability and how convenient it is to use. The DÖRR ball head Classic 36 combines all these features.

The ball head is made of sturdy aluminium and is suitable for all SLR and system cameras even with larger telephoto lenses. Its precision design ensures particularly smooth and easy running.

The easy-grip locking knob has an extra-large diameter. This allows very fine adjustments to be made to the friction of the 36 mm ball, depending on the weight of the mounted camera.

There is a notch on the side of the ball head so you can quickly swivel your camera from landscape to portrait mode. A total of three integrated spirit levels in the ball head help you to align your camera exactly.

The Classic 36 tripod head features a panorama function. It allows up to 360° rotation of the camera. The scale enables you to take shots with even steps – an important prerequisite for stitched panoramic shots. A separate locking screw prevents the camera from accidentally rotating further.

The quick release plate is Arca-Swiss compatible and allows any camera with a 1/4" tripod thread to be connected. The removable plate has non-slip rubber pads on top. These prevent scratches on the camera base and ensure a firm grip. Additional safety pins prevent the camera from slipping out in case the locking screw of the quick-release is ever accidentally loosened.

The ball head has a 3/8" thread so it can be mounted on a tripod. Inside this thread you will find a screw-out thread adapter to mount the Classic 30 head on tripods with 1/4" connection.
